Two Cups
ℹ️ About this game
Control a literal cup on a mission to rescue his partner from a cat in this retro-style platformer. The setup is simple but the actual platforming can get quite tricky. You have to jump across gaps, slide under low barriers, and avoid spikes while collecting scattered pieces of Cupgirl. The pixel art has a nice, bright look to it, and the levels are broken down into short segments so you do not lose too much progress when you inevitably mess up a jump. Momentum is everything here. If you stop moving, making some of the wider jumps becomes almost impossible, so you have to keep a steady rhythm. It feels a bit like classic flash games from a decade ago, which is a good thing. Some of the enemy placements feel slightly mean, but once you memorize their patterns, getting past them is satisfying. It is a solid choice for platformer fans who want a lighthearted challenge that they can finish in an afternoon.
🎯 How to play
Move left and right using the arrow keys or A and D. Press the Spacebar to jump over hazards and enemies. Hold down the down arrow key to slide under low ceilings and narrow passages. Collect all the glowing fragments in each level to unlock the exit portal and move closer to saving Cupgirl.
💡 Tips
You can slide off ledges to gain a little extra speed before jumping, which helps you clear some of the widest gaps. Watch the movement patterns of the patrolling enemies before you drop down into a new area. Do not rush through the levels, as patience is usually better than speed when timing your jumps around spikes.
