Robo-Butcher
ℹ️ About this game
You play a humanoid robot stuck in an arena that scrolls like a platformer. Each wave throws a handful of enemy bots at you, and they come at you from both sides, so you're constantly hopping between ledges and picking your shots. It's not a cover shooter. You're moving most of the time, and the trick is to keep enemies from surrounding you. When you crack open a crate, you might get a better gun or a temporary shield, but the crates are often sitting in the open where you have to expose yourself to grab them. That trade-off keeps things tense. Your basic attack works fine, but certain enemies shrug it off, so you start learning which weapon to switch to without stopping. Upgrades feel meaningful, since a spread shot changes how you approach a crowd and a fast-firing option lets you hold down a lane. The difficulty ramps by mixing faster enemies with ones that explode on death. It's more about positioning than raw reflexes, though you'll still need to dodge. It suits people who like old-school action platformers and don't mind losing a run to a badly timed jump. Nothing here reinvents the genre, but the pacing is solid and the arena layout keeps each wave from feeling identical.
🎯 How to play
Move with the arrow keys or WASD to jump between platforms. Aim and shoot with the mouse or the Z and X keys for your primary and secondary attacks. Destroy all enemy robots in each wave to advance. Grab crates for power-ups, but be careful. You have limited health, so avoid taking hits and use the environment to break line of sight.
💡 Tips
Don't hoard your best weapon. The crate that appears after a wave usually drops something useful, so switch when you see it. If a bomb-type enemy gets close, shoot it from a distance, because its explosion damages you and nearby bots. Also, try jumping while firing. It changes your hitbox and helps you hit overhead targets.
