Here's a 2048-style puzzle that uses cards instead of numbered tiles. You get a small grid and a few cards showing numbers. Tap one, then tap another with the same number, and they combine into a single card with the next value up. The trick is that the board is small, so every merge has to be deliberate. If you make a bad match, you might block yourself later. There's no timer pressing down. The pressure comes from the board filling up. As your cards get bigger, the design changes, so it gives you a small visual reward for progress. It feels like a cross between Solitaire's patience and a number-matching puzzle because you're sorting through possible pairs and deciding which ones to clear first. That planning part is what keeps it interesting. Once a chain starts, it can snowball, but a single misstep can leave you with no open space. The difficulty isn't brutal, but it does ask you to look ahead a step or two. It's a good fit for people who like slower puzzle games and don't mind a little luck. Not much else going on, no story, no timer, but it doesn't need any. If you like 2048, you'll probably get a dozen rounds out of it before it clicks.
