This is a 3D flight shooter where the action happens over open alien landscapes. You fly a jet, chase down enemy ships, and dodge incoming fire while trying to line up a shot. Movement isn't just about pointing at a target. You have to keep your speed sensible and turn hard enough to stay behind the enemy, because head-on fights usually end badly. The controls take a minute to settle into. Once they do, there's a decent loop of shooting down waves, grabbing pickups, and upgrading your ship between runs. New jets and abilities unlock as you hit kill goals. The levels have that shattered-polygon look, which sounds plain but actually makes the targets easy to read. It gets busy when several enemies show up at once and you have to track a few different threats. You'll die plenty while learning which moves are worth the risk. The game leans arcade rather than simulation, so you won't manage fuel or deal with complicated systems. The challenge is mostly reading the fight, and a manual wouldn't help much. If you like arcade shooters with a bit of depth, this one will keep you busy.
