Babel Tower
ℹ️ About this game
You start with a few workers, a pile of clay, and the goal of building a tower tall enough to reach some hazy point in the sky. Actually building means assigning people to mine clay, turn it into bricks, and carry those bricks upward. Each floor costs more than the last, so you'll spend a while just watching numbers tick up before you can add another level. Early on you do everything with clicks. You tap a button to send someone to work, wait, tap again. Later, you can buy upgrades that automate parts of the process, like a wooden crane that moves bricks faster or a wheelbarrow that lets a worker carry more at once. The strategy part comes from deciding what to upgrade first. If you push too hard toward height, you run out of resources mid-floor. If you overbuild production, you wait forever for enough bricks to matter. There's no fail state, so it's really about finding a comfortable pace. It's a slow, numbers-go-up kind of game, and that's fine. The biblical theme is mostly flavor. You won't be dealing with any divine interventions. Works well on a second screen while doing something else.
🎯 How to play
Click workers or buttons to assign them to mining or brick-making jobs. Keep an eye on your resource counts and click the build button once you have enough bricks for the next floor. Upgrade machinery when you can afford it, because manual work gets too slow. Your goal is to keep raising the tower and unlock faster ways to do the same thing. No timer, so take your time.
💡 Tips
Don't save everything for the next floor. A slightly cheaper upgrade can sometimes boost your brick rate more than the equivalent cost in new workers. If the game feels stuck, automate the step that's bottlenecking you first. And don't worry about leaving the game idle. It keeps producing, so a few minutes away usually pays off.
